Sergey Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorsky is a pioneer of colour photography in Russia, a scientist, and a student of Dmitri Mendeleev. His name had been forgotten for many years, and only in the 21st century, thanks to the modern technology we got a chance to see the collection of the artist and the great inventor.
