For more than a hundred years, The Little Women trilogy, one of the most famous works of American classic literature for young adults, has been a huge success among young readers around the world; based on it, plays, opera, TV series and feature films have been created, the last of which was released in 2019. This edition of the trilogy uses drawings by American artists Reginald Bathurst Birch, Edmund Henry Garrett, Louis Jambor and Frank Thayer Merrill. The collection includes four of the most famous novels by the American writer Louisa May Alcott (1832-1888), telling about the life of several generations of the March family, their relatives and pupils. The books are based on the author’s memories of her childhood and of the school created by her own father.
