In this edition, the text of the world-famous novel by Daniel Defoe «The Life and Strange Surprising Adventures of Robinson Crusoe» translated by L. A. Murakhina-Aksenova is given in full, without abbreviations, which for a long time made us perceive the first part of this dilogy exclusively as a children’s book. The second part of the novel is almost unknown to the domestic reader. The design of this publication uses drawings by the talented English Illustrator and graphic artist Walter Stanley Paget.
